Students do not like groups because they are forced to work with people they do not like.

I think that is an awesome reason to use cooperative learning! Students MUST learn how to work with others, especially people they don't like or respect. This is what they will HAVE to do as adults. I'm disappointed that students can't have that foresight, but it is still important.
